Exposition Park-ing Spot for Space Shuttle "Endeavour"

The temporary hangar on the grounds of the California Science Center went up in about five months time.  For an interesting read about the southern California-based T. ViolĂ©  Construction Company and the metal, pre-fabricated "Butler building" click here.  The following photos chronicle the progression this past summer in Exposition Park:

Another view looking east - a ramp will be installed and the shuttle will somehow be eased in from this side of the structure.  The trees may have to be cut down before the October 12/13th installation into the Samuel Oschin Space Shuttle Endeavour Display Pavilion
